Alta View Galleria is an exciting project that showcases the transformation of the area. Previously, the site featured the old hospital, and with the construction of the new clinic by Schuff Steel, significant structural additions were made to the existing facility, including connections to the former women’s hospital. Our work included installing the main stair in both the hospital and the clinic. Later, we took on the Galleria project directly with Okland Construction, bypassing the initial contractor. This involved constructing a striking steel colonnade at the front of the hospital, replacing what was once a dilapidated brick facade. The colonnade features around one hundred columns and is clad with glass, providing a modern aesthetic. Additionally, we upgraded the framing in the women’s hospital. It was gratifying to witness the project come together while we were actively working on-site.
